A review paper of the Pierre Auger Collaboration about searches for photons, with major contributions from the Siegen Auger group, was recently published in Universe. The paper summarizes the current state of all searches for UHE photons at the Pierre Auger Observatory, not only searches for a diffuse flux of photons, but also for point sources of photons and for photons in conjunction with transient events like gravitational waves.
